How and how well? |
The how aligns with the honoring of my Throat Chakra:
|
Same as the other research question: The how aligns with the honoring of my Throat Chakra:
The "how well" isn't that challenging because we as Black womxn are yearning of our own Sista Circle spaces. Additionally, I believe there are Black womxn who want to do more than just "talk" in these spaces; therefore, a creative activity would be another way to expand the experience. |

How realistic (practicalities e.g. resources, access, skills) |
This semester, time is a limited resource. I will focus only on my own spiritual practice of journal writing. After this semester, I will manage my time in such a way that I can design and facilitate "inner"vention workshops. |

Pre- or co-requisites |
Yes, I have the innate skills necessary to create and hold spaces for Black womxn. I even have the skills to facilitate focus groups and conduct interviews, but I don't know exactly what is needed to convert this knowledge into "academic" research. |
Similar response: I have the innate skills necessary to create and hold spaces for Black womxn. I even have 20+ years of experience in the field of group exercise to facilitate such walking groups. But don't know exactly what is needed to convert this knowledge into "academic" research. |
Ethical Issues |
The main ethical issue I see is the sharing of personal writings gathered from the journal writing exercises. Another ethical issue is whether or not the participants will allow me to use this material in future publications and/or performances. |
